ICSD Winter Drive!
PLEASE SUPPORT ISLAMIC CENTER OF SAN DIEGO WINTER DRIVE THIS YEAR BY DONATING GENEROUSLY TO HELP THE REFUGEE FAMILIES IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY.
Now that winter is approaching, we already are receiving numerous requests from refugee families for blankets and portable heaters. We need your donations in order to help them this winter.
WE ARE REQUESTING 100 NEW BLANKETS AND 25 PORTABLE HEATERS (please make sure the heaters are energy savers).
Drop off your items at ICSD.

Ramadan Quran Competition
Levels:
- 5 years old & under: Surat Al-humazah (104) or Surat Al-kaafiroon (109)
- 6 to 10 years old: Surat Al-a’laa (87) or Surat Al-burooj (85)
- 11 to 15 years old: Surat Al-haaqah (69) or Surat Al-insaan (76)
- 16 to 20 years old: Surat Al-waaqiah (56) or Surat Al-fath (48)
- 21 years old & up: Surat Loqman (31) or As-sajdah (32)
Rules & remarks:
- This contest is open to both males and females (women judges will test females).
- Participation is not allowed at more than one (1) level.
- The test (tasmee’?) will take place at ICSD on Sunday Ramadan 28, 1429 / Sep. 28, 2008 starting from 11am.
- Registration is required at ICSD’s office before the day of the contest.
- Winners will be awarded on after Isha prayer of the same day.
