Parenting workshop With Sister Noha Alshugairi
Noha Alshugairi is currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at Straight Talk in Cypress,CA. She received her B.A. in Zoology from Rutgers University and her M.S in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton… She strongly believes that a nurturing family unit is the basis of a strong Muslim community. What she saw as an alarming trend of family disintegration in our community was the impetus behind her decision to pursue a career in counseling. Her research topic for her master’s degree was centered on “Marriage Trends in the American Muslim Community.” Ms. Alshugairi is keenly interested in helping the American Muslim family integrate faith and culture in the U.S and helping our community proactively deal with our emergent social problems and concerns.
She speaks in many conventions, seminars and shares many workshops with Dr Redha Bashir.
When: Saturday November 8th 4:00PM - 7:00PM

PLEASE SUPPORT ISLAMIC CENTER OF SAN DIEGO WINTER DRIVE THIS YEAR BY DONATING GENEROUSLY TO HELP THE REFUGEE FAMILIES IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY.
Now that winter is approaching, we already are receiving numerous requests from refugee families for blankets and portable heaters. We need your donations in order to help them this winter.
WE ARE REQUESTING 100 NEW BLANKETS AND 25 PORTABLE HEATERS (please make sure the heaters are energy savers).
